Neighbourhood Youth return with two minute epic, ‘Stay Safe’

Melbourne quartet, Neighbourhood Youth have returned with their first music of 2018, with the two minute epic, ‘Stay Safe’. Following a huge few months that saw them support the likes of Turnover (USA), British India, Waax and The Pretty Littles, the band have knuckled down with producer Greg Rietwyk to record a stack of new material for their upcoming debut album.

‘Stay Safe’ explores the highs and lows of contemplation and overthinking, with the rapid-fire musicianship of the band on full display, bringing all of those frustrated thoughts to life. The video, shot by long time friend Nick Manuell, shows Neighbourhood Youth at their polarising best, with Brunswick’s Moreland Hotel providing one of the more interesting backdrops of Melbourne’s northern suburbs.
